BlahBlah Terms of Service. The Korean version of these Terms prevails if the two versions conflict.
Chapter 1. General provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, responsibilities and procedures between LUMI (“we”, “us”) and members in using the BlahBlah website, launcher, game and related services.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service”: everything we provide through the BlahBlah website (blahblahai.com), PC launcher and game, including English conversations with AI residents, life simulation and learning records.
- “Member”: a customer who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- “AI resident”: a virtual character in the Service that talks with members using artificial intelligence.
- “Paid Service”: a subscription service that members pay for.
- “Administrator”: a person we appoint, or us, for the overall management and smooth operation of the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and amending these Terms)
- We post these Terms on the website so members can easily find them.
- We may amend these Terms as needed without violating applicable laws, including the Korean Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
- If an existing member does not agree to the amended Terms, they may stop using the Service and delete their account.
Article 4 (Notices to members)
We may notify members by the email address used to sign in or by similar means. Notices to all members may be replaced by posting on the website for at least 14 days. Matters that significantly affect a member’s transactions or use of the Service may be notified separately for at least 30 days in the same way.
Chapter 2. Membership
Article 5 (Sign-up)
- Anyone who wishes to use the Service signs up by agreeing to these Terms and signing in with a supported third-party account such as Google or Apple.
- Applicants must provide truthful information and are responsible for any consequences of providing false information.
- We may refuse an application if the applicant previously lost membership, uses another person’s identity, or for other reasons that make approval impossible.
- We may cancel membership if a member violates Article 8 (Member obligations).
Article 6 (Account management)
- Members are responsible for the third-party account they use to sign in and may not transfer, lend or let others use it.
- If a member becomes aware that their account is being used by someone else, they must notify us immediately.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by a member’s failure to meet these obligations.
Article 7 (Termination of the agreement)
- Members may terminate their agreement by emailing yuli@blahblahai.com.
- We may terminate the agreement if a member violates these Terms or applicable laws.
Chapter 3. Using the Service
Article 8 (Member obligations)
We may suspend a member’s use of the Service or terminate the agreement if the member:
- damages the reputation of us or third parties, or interferes with the Service;
- infringes copyrights or other intellectual property rights;
- uses another person’s information;
- lets a third party use their account;
- reverse engineers or modifies the Service, or accesses it by unauthorized means;
- uses conversations with AI residents or other parts of the Service to create or spread obscene, violent, hateful or illegal content, or content that infringes others’ rights;
- impersonates our staff or related parties.
Article 9 (Providing and changing the Service)
- We aim to provide BlahBlah 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The Service currently supports Windows 10 / 11.
- We may change the Service for operational or technical reasons.
- We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, outages, natural disasters or similar reasons, with advance notice where possible.
Article 10 (AI conversations)
- AI residents’ responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate or inappropriate.
- AI residents’ responses are for learning only and do not replace professional advice.
Chapter 4. Other provisions
Article 11 (Our obligations)
We do our best to provide the Service continuously and reliably.
Article 12 (Intellectual property)
We or the rightful owners hold the rights to the software, designs, characters and text of the Service. Open-source software included in the Service is governed by its own license.
Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
Legal disputes related to these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits are filed with the Seoul Central District Court.
Article 14 (Paid subscriptions and auto-renewal)
- BlahBlah offers monthly and annual auto-renewing paid subscriptions, paid through payment methods we support, such as Payple.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless the member cancels auto-renewal before the current period ends. Monthly subscriptions are charged every 30 days and annual subscriptions every 365 days.
- Members can manage their subscription or cancel auto-renewal at any time through the subscription management page or other methods we provide. After canceling, members can keep using the Service until the end of the period already paid for.
- Subscription prices: Monthly $14.99 / Annual $89.99, or the prices shown on the Service at the time of purchase.
- We may change the composition, prices and terms of the Paid Service as needed, and will give advance notice where required by law.
- We do not store full payment method details such as complete card numbers.
Article 15 (Refunds and withdrawal)
- Members may request cancellation or withdrawal within 7 days of the payment date.
- If a member requests withdrawal or a refund within 7 days of payment, we refund the full amount.
- If a member requests a refund more than 7 days after payment, we may deduct the amount for the period actually used, then deduct a further 10% of the remainder as a cancellation fee, and refund the balance. If the refundable amount is zero or less, no further refund is made.
- For annual or other discounted long-term subscriptions, the amount for the period used may be calculated daily based on the regular monthly price at the time of payment: days used × regular monthly price ÷ 30. BlahBlah’s current regular monthly price is $14.99.
- Once we approve a refund, we generally ask the payment provider to cancel or refund the payment within 3 business days of receiving the member’s request. The actual completion date may vary depending on the provider’s policy, settlement status or missing information from the member.
- Once a refund is completed or a subscription is canceled, the member may lose access to the related Paid Service.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on October 7, 2026.
